Scholastic Arts & Writing: 2019 Golden Key Award
After Galasso encouraged a sixteen-year-old Taije to apply for the 2019 Scholastic Arts Awards, they received a Golden Key, earning a two-week pop-up display at the Montclair Art Museum.
This prestigious honor pushed Taije's 2018 piece, "False Idol", to National Competition. However, the oil painting remained within regional level.
Taije's 2018 oil painting, "Alana of the Lillies" received an Honorable Mention, and her 2019 piece, "Ecstasy", received a Silver Key Medal.
