Requests sent via social media (DMs, comments, etc.) will not be considered valid.

Your email proposal must include:

• Your full name
• Your age (a valid photo ID will be required for confirmation)
• The subject of the photoshoot (e.g., special occasion, portfolio, etc.) & visual inspiration
• The deadline for receiving edited photos (if applicable)

⚠️ Equipment Note:
Our lead artist, Alana Taije, typically shoots with an iPhone 12 Pro. These high-quality portraits have been exhibited in NYC galleries. If you are uncomfortable with this or prefer a professional camera setup, please state that clearly in your email. Camera rentals are available upon request or you are welcome to bring your own. If bringing your own, include the make and model in your message.

⚠️ Turnaround Time:
Please do not attempt to book a shoot the day before your requested deadline. Photo processing may take 1–2 weeks, and rush orders are not available at this time.

Once all information is confirmed and both the client (you) and the artist (Alana Taije) have signed the required electronic documents, you will receive a confirmation email including:

• A summary of what was discussed and agreed upon (deliverables, pricing, etc.)
• Sketches, if applicable
• A PDF copy of the signed forms
• Payment confirmation
• The studio address or alternative agreed-upon location

This booking process ensures that all legal, confidentiality, and production agreements are handled properly—protecting both parties and keeping things clear, smooth, and professional.

• Photo Set: 3-4 Photos at $75
• Photo Series: 5-7 Photos at $95+

Alana Taije — owner, designer, and creative force behind TAIJE— is the lead (and only) photographer and set designer, specializing in abstract, surreal, and emotionally evocative portraiture. If you are looking for traditional photography, please do not book with us. We are for the freaks, geeks, weirdos, and creeps!

There are two primary options for photoshoot locations, depending on the nature of the project and your relationship with the artist:

• Home Studio (Private Location):
  If you are personally acquainted with the artist and the shoot concept aligns, sessions may take place at the private home studio.
• External Studio or On-Site Location:
  Clients may also request a studio rental, venue, or more elaborate setup. These requests are welcomed, as long as schedules align and planning is done in a timely manner.

Outdoor or on-location shoots are also available: "ESPEJO" (2022) and the "FAE" Series (2023) were both captured outdoors and later edited to achieve vastly different aesthetics.

To further support your photoshoot experience, we offer recommendations for trusted external services that can be booked in conjunction with your session. These collaborators are familiar with our process and uphold a standard of professionalism that aligns with our values.

If you intend to book any external services, please coordinate with us ahead of time to ensure seamless scheduling. We’re happy to assist with logistics or provide additional referrals upon request.

Unfortunately, we are not accepting minors for photoshoot requests at this time. May be subject to change.

• Do not arrive visibly intoxicated, hungover, sick, or in any condition that could hinder a respectful, creative, or productive session.
• Absolutely no substances are permitted during indoor shoots. This includes alcohol, drugs, flammables, and explosives. Violations will result in immediate cancellation without refund.
• Only those listed in the signed agreement may attend. Unapproved guests will be asked to leave or may incur an additional fee if they participate in the session.
• Group shoots are limited to 4–7 individuals, depending on the shoot’s concept, deliverables, editing needs, and usage rights. Larger groups may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
• Photo credit is highly appreciated! Our artist puts deep care into every project. Tagging or crediting is a simple, free, and respectful way to support small creators.

🚫 No Minors at Home Studio

• No one under 18 is permitted at the home studio — this includes children, siblings, or dependents.
• Outdoor shoots involving minors (e.g., maternity or family sessions) may be considered on a case-by-case basis, depending on availability, style, and project goals.

🖤 Style & Expectations

TAIJE is not a traditional photography service. Our roots are in conceptual, alternative, and countercultural aesthetics. We celebrate individuality, artistic risk, and authenticity.

• No sexually explicit, smut, or pornographic content. Requests of this nature will result in an immediate block.
• Female-only boudoir or Valentine's sets are the only exception — no couples for boudoir themes.
• Couples shoots are welcomed in artistic, romantic, or narrative styles that respect our ethos.

At TAIJE, our goal is to make you feel like a star. If you're investing in a custom photoshoot, you deserve to bask in the final images and feel proud of the work you helped create. We believe in transparency, consent, and giving you the power to control how your likeness and images are used.

As part of the onboarding process, every client will receive a digital consent form (e-form) outlining Publishing Rights options. You’ll have the chance to accept or decline specific usage permissions related to your session, including but not limited to:

• Sharing finalized images, sketches, or behind-the-scenes content on social media (Instagram, TikTok, etc.)
• Featuring your shoot on the official TAIJE website
• Making your images eligible for monetary reproduction (prints, zines, merchandise, etc.)

These permissions are broken into individual sections, allowing you to say:

• Yes to website use, but no to social media
• Yes to digital sharing, but no to commercial reproduction
• Or fully decline all publishing permissions

You may revoke or amend your publishing agreement at any time. To do so, simply send a written request via email to alanataije@gmail.com. This ensures legal clarity and protection for all parties involved.

🧾 Your Rights as a Model

TAIJE honors and upholds basic model and client rights. Please refer to the U.S. Model’s Bill of Rights below for your legal protections during creative collaborations.

💸 Optional Compensation

Eligible clients or models may receive compensation if their content is reproduced or shared beyond the original project scope. This may include:

• Social media credit/exposure
• Financial compensation, depending on the agreement
• Merchandising or gallery exhibition opportunities

All agreements will be clearly stated in the onboarding documents. PDF copies of all signed forms will be emailed to you for your records, including any requests or changes made post.
