General Information

All photoshoots and commissions must begin through the Inquiries page. No service may be purchased or reserved until StudioTAIJÉ has reviewed and approved the inquiry.

Please provide the requested details regarding your concept, budget, timeline, location, and intended use.

Once the project details are confirmed, clients will be cleared to purchase a Studio Pass for the approved photoshoot package or commission. These passes function as booking and payment portals—not as open invitations to purchase a service without consultation.

Please include all add-ons for lighting, editing, turnaround time, etc., as discussed in our project planning.

Clients may pay the required deposit or the full balance through the Studio Pass listing(s). Deposits are applied toward the final cost and are nonrefundable.

Any remaining balance must be paid according to the deadline established in the agreement.

Submitting an inquiry does not automatically reserve a date. A session or commission is officially booked only after StudioTAIJÉ approves the details, both parties accept the agreement, and the required payment is received.

Photoshoot booking passes will be verified upon arrival for the confirmed session.

ShopTAIJÉ offers original artwork, independently produced goods, and select made-to-order merchandise fulfilled through production partners. Pricing reflects creative labor, materials, production, platform fees, and fulfillment costs.

Shipping is calculated according to the item, destination, and carrier. Local pickup or delivery within New Jersey and New York may be arranged when available, with additional fees based on distance from StudioTAIJÉ.

Booking a Photoshoot

All sessions begin with a booking inquiry or consultation.

Please include your preferred date, location, intended use, number of participants, and general concept. Your session is reserved only after the agreement and nonrefundable deposit are received.

Your remaining balance will be due at the end of the session via Zelle only. All clients have the option to pay in full when booking.

Visual references are welcome to communicate mood, styling, and composition, but StudioTAIJÉ will not directly reproduce another artist’s work. Creative direction and posing guidance are included as appropriate; elaborate concepts, custom sets, styling, or additional collaborators may require added planning and fees.

Please book two to four weeks in advance whenever possible.

Late arrival reduces your available shooting time, and extensions are not guaranteed. Rescheduling requires advance notice; deposits may be transferred once with sufficient notice, while repeated changes, cancellations, or missed sessions may require a new retainer.

Weather-affected sessions may be relocated or rescheduled for safety and image quality.

Clients should arrive camera-ready unless styling services were arranged beforehand. All participants, guests, accessibility needs, and support persons must be disclosed before the session. Respectful, safe conduct is required; harassment, discrimination, boundary violations, or equipment damage may end the session without refund.

Clients receive a curated collection of professionally edited photographs—not every frame, test shot, duplicate, or RAW file. Standard editing includes color, exposure, cropping, and light temporary-blemish retouching. Extensive manipulation or body reshaping is not included nor standard within our studio practices.

Turnaround times are confirmed before booking, with rush delivery available when scheduling permits.

StudioTAIJÉ retains copyright unless a written transfer is purchased. Your agreement will specify personal, editorial, or commercial usage rights. Commercial campaigns, advertisements, publications, products, album artwork, and other revenue-generating uses require an appropriate license. Delivered images may not be re-edited, filtered, or altered using AI.

Portfolio and promotional permissions are addressed in the agreement. Any privacy concerns or restrictions must be discussed before booking so expectations are clear for everyone.

StudioTAIJÉ prioritizes accessibility, informed collaboration, creative integrity, and respect for personal boundaries. Generative AI is not used to create or replace clients, styling, locations, or photographic results. Projects may be declined if they conflict with the studio’s availability, artistic scope, safety standards, or professional values.

Requesting a Commission

All commissions begin with an inquiry or consultation. Please include your preferred medium, dimensions, subject, intended use, budget, deadline, and visual references. Final pricing reflects the scale, materials, complexity, and labor required.

A signed agreement and nonrefundable retainer are required before work begins. The remaining balance must be paid before the finished artwork is delivered or shipped. Payment plans may be discussed for larger commissions.

References are welcome for communicating subject matter, mood, color, and direction. StudioTAIJÉ will interpret these materials through its established artistic style rather than directly copying another artist’s work.

Sketches or photos of the works in progress can be included to your package at an additional fee.

Smaller commissions may require several weeks, while larger or highly detailed projects may take several months. Estimated timelines are confirmed before work begins and may shift due to material availability, drying time, shipping, or unforeseen circumstances.

Rush orders may include an additional fee, excluding expedited shipping.

Clients may receive sketches or progress updates at predetermined stages. The total archive of your project sketches may be purchased for an additional fee.

Minor revisions are limited to the number stated in the agreement; substantial changes to the concept, size, or composition will require additional fees, compensation for work completed, and a revised timeline.

Commissioned artwork is handmade and may include natural variations in texture, color, proportion, and material. These distinctions are part of the work’s character and do not qualify as defects.

Shipping, delivery, installation, framing, and insurance are priced separately unless otherwise stated.

Clients must provide accurate delivery information and report shipping damage promptly with photographs of the artwork and packaging.

Purchasing a commission transfers ownership of the physical artwork, not its copyright. StudioTAIJÉ retains the right to photograph and reproduce the work unless otherwise agreed.

Commercial reproduction, branding, merchandise, or publication requires separate written permission and licensing.

Select commissions may be documented and shared within StudioTAIJÉ’s portfolio or promotional materials. Gifts, memorial pieces, and private commissions will remain confidential.

StudioTAIJÉ does not use generative AI to create commissioned artwork and will not reproduce copyrighted artwork, imitate living artists, or accept discriminatory or exploitative concepts.

Commissions may be declined if they conflict with the studio’s artistic scope, schedule, safety standards, or values.

Community Engagement

Submit an inquiry describing your organization, proposed program, preferred dates, location, budget, and accessibility needs. Consultations help determine the project’s scope, compatibility, and required resources before commitments are made.

Services may include art workshops, artist talks, portfolio guidance, event programming, creative consultation, and collaborative project development. Rates vary by preparation, duration, materials, travel, group size, and overall scope. Volunteer or reduced-rate services are limited and considered individually.

StudioTAIJÉ welcomes collaborations with artists, educators, cultural organizations, and community-led initiatives whose values align with the studio’s practice. Proposals should identify the purpose, timeline, budget, responsibilities, and expectations for every contributor. Labor, deadlines, and ownership must be agreed upon before work begins.

Products and partnership proposals must align with StudioTAIJÉ’s artistic identity, ethics, and audience. Unsolicited packages do not guarantee content, promotion, or endorsement.

Compensation, deliverables, deadlines, creative control, and usage rights must be confirmed through a written agreement.

StudioTAIJÉ supports age-appropriate arts education through workshops, mentorship, portfolio development, and community programming. Requests involving minors must be coordinated through a parent, guardian, school, or established organization with proper supervision.

Programming depends upon availability, funding, accessibility, and a clearly defined learning goal.

StudioTAIJÉ may accept clean, safe, and usable art supplies, tools, found objects, and recyclable materials for future projects or community programming.

Photographs, dimensions, quantities, and material conditions must be shared before drop-off. Unapproved, hazardous, pest-exposed, mold-damaged, or heavily soiled materials cannot be accepted.
