“The 2017 Collection” by Alana Taije features a handful of carefully selected works ranging from rudimentary sketches to her more popular pieces, such as "Etching" (2017), to live studies and personal illustrations.

At just fourteen years of age, Alana began to blossom under the academic guidance of M. Galasso. While enrolled as a freshman at the Ridgefield Park Junior-Senior High School, Galasso's Art II & III courses provided the necessary foundation for a lifetime of creatively exploring the human condition. This scholarly mentorship paved the way for Taije's original trademark and style, where her work was pegged as "cynical, but cute," from Galasso himself.

Cradling adolescence, Alana Taije uses her artwork, in both intimate and educational settings, to express subconscious feelings and anomalies related to the growing pains associated with self-actualization.
